I am trying to check my gdcm installation for the first time. i am unable to build any of the example files. I have tried to separately build file named ReadAndDumpDICOMDIR.cxx (renamed to main.cpp):

I am at my wits end on how to remedy this. Any help will be welcome. Also note that I was unable to build shared libraries, and build-with-VTK is set to true, if that means anything. Thanks

Problem solved. It appears cmake kept skipping libraries when installing into my /usr/local/gcmbin, even though I followed all the steps. I created a new folder in my /home/usman directory and repeated the process. And now it links. Thanks for looking at the issue. At least i can RIP now :)
