How do I programmatically delete cookies, cache and history (that is, all browsing data) in all major browsers (IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome & Safari)?

I have found the following blog entry which details batch scripts for accomplishing the task: http://www.catonmat.net/blog/clear-privacy-ie-firefox-opera-chrome-safari/

But I would like to convert these to C#.


I have WinINETCache class, but I have some errors near this command...

You can call a batch script from C# code. No one here is going to read your linked article and convert the entire thing into C# for you, if that's what you're requesting. –  Grant Winney Mar 17 '13 at 20:39

Converting all the scripts would be too much for a forum answer.

You should have a look at the DirectoryInfo and FileInfo classes. They should help you to convert 80% of the batch commands to c#.

The following example code would delete all files and directories (including subdirectories) in C:\TempFiles (use it instead of the del command):
