I am developing an application that takes pictures automatically and send them thanks to websocket but I can't run any preview in the android smartphone.

It's either showing a white page in it or showing error :

wooow, this is a lot of code. I mean - a lot! You have NullPointerException in 243 line of MainActivity. Try to debug it yourself or pick only small portion of your code so we can help you. Also, please point the 243th line. –  Zielony Mar 29 '13 at 10:21
    
I erased everything relative to websocket and the line is mPreview = new PicPreview(this, mCamera); preview = (FrameLayout) findViewById(R.id.camera_preview); preview.addView(cameraSurfaceView); // this one in onResume() –  Nalianne Mar 29 '13 at 10:52
    
The exception was thrown from onCreate, so it should be somewhere there (in onCreate). Try moving setContentView to onCreate and check if you content is set properly. You can comment out all code except setContentView and check using HierarchyViewer –  Zielony Mar 29 '13 at 12:56
    
I can't even take picture it's showing Throwable takePicture failed and my application is stopping. In the HierarchyViewer doesn't show anything –  Nalianne Apr 2 '13 at 8:13
