I have a binary image that has being filtered so that all of the pixels are one of three different values. -1, 0 or 1. I want to plot different color lines on the -1 and 1 value pixels. Can anyone help me with creating a loop so it will do this without having to specify start and endpoints for each of the lines so that I can input a different image each time, filter it and then apply the code to plot lines on the positive and negative points.

Here is what I have so far in terms of code:

Image =imread('barcode.jpg');
I = im2double(Image);
G  = rgb2gray(I);
avgI=mean(mean(G));
Threshold = avgI;
T=(G<Threshold);


figure
G = [1 0 -1
     2 0 -2 
     1 0 -1]/4;

Output = conv2(double(T),G); % 2D Convolution Function

subplot(1,2,1), imshow (T,[]);
subplot(1,2,2), imshow (Output,[]);

I want to be able to plot vertical lines along the barcode at the beginning and end of each bar(which will be either a -1 or 1 value) for all of the bars in the barcode.

I am not able to attach pictures at this point.

I just put up some code that I have worked on already, I have not being able to find any help online to achieve my goal of drawing lines on my image, any help would be appreciated. –  Navack Apr 1 '13 at 23:13
    
@Navack You need to get the axes handle and then set the units to pixels through something like set(gca,'units','pixels') –  jucestain Apr 1 '13 at 23:24
