also I tried to launch it on a cluster from 4 machines, only on 2 from which demons of Datanode and TaskNode are executed. Before program start I copied the /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/input/paths.txt file in the hdfs://192.168.1.8:7000/user/hadoop/paths.txt and /usr/countcomputers.txt file in hdfs://192.168.1.8:7000/user/hadoop/countcomputers.txt by means of commands

./hadoop fs -put /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/input/paths.txt /user/hadoop/paths.txt
./hadoop fs -put /usr/countcomputers.txt /user/hadoop/countcomputers.txt

and also I created the folder by means of a command

./hadoop fs -mkdir /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/input

(by itself I launched everything demons on cluster computers). As a result of execution by means of a command

./hadoop jar ParallelIndexation.jar org.myorg.ParallelIndexation /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/input /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/output 1> resultofexecution.txt 2>&1

Just check once, it is possible in your case that args[0] is the class name :org.myorg.ParallelIndexation rather than the input path, which might be then as args[1] –  Amar Apr 3 '13 at 5:50
    
@Amar org.myorg.ParallelIndexation is the class and /export/hadoop-1.0.1/bin/input is the input path. I didn't understand sense of your note, you can speak in more detail and more accurately. –  user1851132 Apr 3 '13 at 6:04
    
I mean to say that your main() receives arguments as stated after the specified jar, so after the jar the first argument is the main class name i.e args[0] and the input path becomes args[1]. Try and add the following as your first line in main() : System.out.println("args[0]="+args[0]); –  Amar Apr 3 '13 at 7:58
