I need to solve this system of differential equations for a range of s=[0,200]. I would prefer to do it with MatLab but I have access at my place of work to other software.

Dependent variables = x,y,T
Independent variable = s

T'*x' + T*x'' - 420*y' = 0
T'*y' + T*y'' - 1.37  = 0
(x')^2 + (y')^2 = 1


T(0) = 2000
y(0) = 0
x(0) = 0
x'(0) = 0
y'(0) = 0

Unless you are working in the complex domain, (x')^2 + (y')^2 = 0 implies x' = y' = 0 –  Rasman Apr 3 '13 at 10:48

I think i can use ODE15s if I substitute x'=v y'=w, I will give it a try –  germansal Apr 3 '13 at 14:05
