I am trying to map some keyword handlers (methods) via qi::symbols with values of boost::function type. So If keyword is found I want to call method. But I couldn't bind method from this map. Compiler failed with bunch of errors on phoenix::bind. What do I do wrong?

Part of code is below:

I've found workaround for the problem :<br/><br/> 1. Replace complex predicate[phoenix::bind with:<br/> operand = [phoenix::bind(&RQL::dispatchPredicate, this, qi::_1)] ... void dispatchPredicate(const fusion::vector<RQLPredicate, PredicateArgList>& v) { fusion::at_c<0>(v)(this, fusion::at_c<1>(v)); }<br/> –  Mike Yastrebtsov Apr 4 '13 at 13:55

I had quite a hard time creating something palatable from your - broken - sample. Why don't you make it a SSCCE next time? As my answer shows, this would not have been much more work - for you. –  sehe Apr 4 '13 at 23:46

I suppose the missing link might have been

#define BOOST_SPIRIT_USE_PHOENIX_V3

It prints

Hello world from 'Grammar::composing(PredicateArgList const&)' args:3

as expected.

UPDATE PS. I'd probably prefer writing the bind invocation like so:

I think it is much clearer with _1 and _2 instead of the at_c<n> invocations.

Thank you for your great assistance! It's a pity but I am forced to use boost 1.41 and this version has no phoenix v3 support (no BOOST_SPIRIT_USE_PHOENIX_V3 macro) I've used w/a with dispatcher function as I described in my first comment to the original post. –  Mike Yastrebtsov Apr 5 '13 at 16:01
    
Mmm. The lack of Phoenix v3 is a minor issue compared to the other bugs fixed since that version. Who/what forces you to use that version? You realize that Boost Spirit is header only, right? I'd say look at BCP once. (PS. I had to fix a bug in 1_41_0 tst.hpp in order to get qi::symbols to compile in the first place -- eek!) –  sehe Apr 6 '13 at 9:15
