I need to read the date, memory free and %idle, and write to two csv files with two columns. One will be date and memory, and the other will be date and %idle. So I have written the code that reads the data and append it to 3 lists. How do I write them to 2 csv files such that they fulfill my requirement?

Writing to a file is like reading, just the other way around:

try (BufferedWriter writer = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter("delete.me"))) {
    writer.write("something");
    writer.newLine();
}

If you want to have a new line for each extracted date & memory value, it could look like this:

public void writeToCSV(List<String> dateTime, List<String> memFree) throws IOException {
    try (BufferedWriter writer = new BufferedWriter(new FileWriter("delete.me"))) {
        if(dateTime == null || memFree == null)
            return;

        Iterator<String> memFrees = memFree.iterator(); 
        for (String dt: dateTimes) {
            if (!memFrees.hasNext())
                return;
            writer.write(dt + "," + memFrees.next());
            writer.newLine();
        }
    }
}

But as M Sach suggested, you may want to look at a framework doing things like that for you.
