here it is the error >> TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::Stage@261b4089 to flash.display.MovieClip. at com.ply::Heli/fireBullet() at com.ply::Heli/myOnPress()

Use of only one ENTER_FRAME event is a good pactice. Use ON/OFF like switch for objects in a single `ENTER_FRAME' event. –  Rajneesh Gaikwad Apr 12 '13 at 19:53

You have added your player in Main into stage instead of this - why, by the way? So, there are two methods of fixing this: First, change line where you add player to display list, and second, remove direct coercion from Heli.fireBullet() function. I'd say use the first one.

Change

MovieClip(parent).bullets.push(b);
MovieClip(parent).bullets.push(b2);

to

MovieClip(root).bullets.push(b);
MovieClip(root).bullets.push(b2);

I'd advise against relying on root at all, this is IIRC a deprecated property. –  Vesper Apr 11 '13 at 13:59
