I am not native in English, so please excuse my poor English sentence.
I have some text file for presenting graph, like this.
(up to 1,300,000 lines...)
As you expected, this is very simple notation for presenting undirected network graph.
I know there are many kind of visualization tools, such as Graphviz, Cytoscape, NodeXL, etc.
But this kind of programs tend to down due to OutOfMemory Exception (of course, I set -Xmx arguments as execute parameter). Above all, there is no way to publish generated graph to web page. (I do not want to just show that graph as an image, rather I want to add some interactivity like zooming, dragging, click node(show detail information about that node), etc.
In the middle of process, I stucked in drawing graph itself (and this is beginning of all stuff I said above).
First, I tried to draw that graph with BufferedImage in Java. But as you know, this lead to OutOfMemory Exception. I thought, Walk around to this problem is not to draw all graph at once, rather divide the drawn portion of graph, draw it, and flush that part out file.
But how can I draw part of image not knowing whole image which will be drawn?
As a result, I want to know methodology of drawing large image (in this case, that is graph which is consist of node and edge, from text file). The result is file (the number of file is not important, I can integrate splited image, and vice versa. And of course, I should prepare various zoom level images, too.)
I tried this using Java, but not to stick to this. I willing to study other languages if that provide more efficiency.
Any idea will be appreciated! (even that is not concerned to generate image, but objective should be publishing visualized huge data on the web).
