My goal is: At initialization, you can see "FRONT TEXT", if you click on the layer, it will vertically flip and you will see "BACK TEXT".

This is my approach:

Everything is what I am expecting except the BACKTEXT after transforming. It looks not so clear. Pictures are below.

I noticed this while doing my own transforms using CAAnimations. I believe it has to do with the ending position and floating-point math operations. I DO know that if you draw a line using Core Graphics, you have to add .5 pixels here and there to get it to look crisp. This may be the issue here - the math gives it a floating point position, and points are integers on iOS. –  bgoers Apr 18 '13 at 21:06

@bgoers:appreciate your answer, however, I dont draw any CATextLayer in my codes now. If i dont apply trasnformation for customLayer, the text of CATextLayer is clear. please look at here –  tranvutuan Apr 18 '13 at 21:18
