Im working on application and i Encapsulated my every field in the class, i wonder is this a good practice or not. Thanx In Advance

I would have rewritten your above code snippet something like that:

//underscore is not C# convention for class name

    public String Make { get; set; }

       //It's not appropiate to call DB connection in constructor as it could result in exception
       //connectDB(); 
    }

}

Just to add a point, if you are taking parameters directly from User Interface such as Textboxes, consider validating input to prevent SQL Injection. – Adil Apr 21 '13 at 16:02

I suggest you to work with automatic properties,

use:

public int MyProperty { get; set; }

instead of:

int _MyProperty;
public int MyProperty 
{
    get { return _MyProperty; }
    set { _MyProperty = value; }
}
