# How to extract pixels from an image frame divided block and put it into a single 1D array in MATLAB?

In my project i am implementing bigbackground algorithm. I have a pseudo code for it. I have divided an video frames into blocks but not able to consider the pixels from it. I dono how to write the MATLAB code properly. Can anyone help me in doing this???

I havent read your (pseudo)code, but there are functions like `im2col` and `blockproc` in Image Processing toolbox that can help you. –  Amro Apr 25 '13 at 13:46
