From the following data frame where 2 unique DBKEY's of the same STATION, I need to create a new one with 2 seperate 'VAL' columns (VAL1 and VAL2) that are of the same STATION.

This seems pretty straightforward if I'm understanding correctly. unstack() should take care of it:

Yep. That is exactly what I needed. However, how do I access the results? I need the results to be a new df, populated with STATIONS, DAILY_DATE, VAL1, VAL2.
