I've have set up ACS to be my SAML claim provider for SharePoint 2013.
Within SharePoint 2013, if I add the user using the UID from their account (eg. 00333333333DED) it it resovled and I get the option to add either the Email of UPN for the account.
In the past, I've always added the UPN.
Once I've done this, I can see that the user has been added to my sharepoint site.
I can browse to the site, get redirected to Windows Live login, and then enter in my crednetials. The crednetials are validated, but when I get to SharePoint site, I'm told that the site hasn't been shared with me.
Am I missing some important step?
I have tried adding the user via their email address, UPN, using the full e-mail address, using just the UID - but nothing is allowing me to login with that user.
Would appreciate any ideas people may have.
EDIT 02/05/2013 I have also followed a guide here http://dannyjessee.com/blog/index.php/2012/11/using-azure-acs-to-sign-in-to-sharepoint-2013-with-facebook/ and set a "User Access Policy" for all of my users - the flip side to this was that I was able to login WITHOUT adding the user to the site. Not ideal.
