My host confirmed that Zend 2.3 is installed. I then proceeded to check the installation was working by uploading this script:

Exception thrown trying to access Zend/Loader.php using 'use_include_path' = true. 
Make sure you include Zend Framework in your include_path which currently contains:

I've obtained the Zend Framework from the zend website and uploaded it to a /zend folder on my website. For whatever reason, my host won't give me access to the php.ini file. I have purchased a reseller account with my host.

I'm doing all of this because I want to integrate Google Calendar API into an application I'm building on one of my websites. Maybe there is a simpler solution to my ultimate goal, but I don't see it.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

FYI "Zend Engine 2.3" listed on your phpinfo has nothing to do with Zend Framework. ZF doesn't require any sort of server installation. – Tim Fountain May 3 '13 at 17:44
    
Tim, the Zend 2.3 is just what the server needs to read the file if I compile something to be run on the server later? – j_allen_morris May 3 '13 at 19:45

Add the dir to your include path:

 set_include_path(

Wrikken - I think my problem is that I don't know what exactly I should put in place of your '/whatever/your/zend/dir/is' Currently I have: /home/jarodmo/public_html/zend/ but within the zend folder i also have: /home/jarodmo/public_html/zend/library/Zend/ How deep into the file structure should I go? I've tried all kinds of combinations of file structure and nothing seems to be working. – j_allen_morris May 3 '13 at 19:58
    
Wrikken, now with your code, the zend_checker.php is throwing the following error: Exception thrown trying to access Zend/Loader.php using 'use_include_path' = true. Tim, I think I have something else messed up then because I changed it up to what you said and I'm still getting the same error. Ideas? The error specifically states: "Exception thrown trying to access Zend/Loader.php using..." Why is the Installation Checker trying to access Zend/Loader.php? I've checked and that file doesn't exist in the Zend folder. Just a thought. ~Jarod – j_allen_morris May 3 '13 at 21:31
