I have asp.net 4 project changed to apply custom transformations:

Transformation logic is defined in separate file:

The problem is that transformation gets applied before publish process, so transformed files are overridden by source:

Is there way to apply transformations after files were copied to package directory? I tried different recommendations, but with no luck.

Update 1: An interesting thing: The file TransformFiles.targets isn't analyzed during publish process at all. I made mistake in file:

<Project xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/developer/msbuild/2003">
  <Message-bla-bla Importance="high" Text="test001" />
</Project>

So build failed:

But publish succeeded (!!!):

There are 2 fixes:

1 Change AfterTargets property:

<Target Name="TransformAllFiles" DependsOnTargets="$(TransformAllFilesDependsOn)" AfterTargets="CopyAllFilesToSingleFolderForMsdeploy;">

2 Restart Visual Studio (!).
