I have written a JAVA program for Interval Trees in one dimension. But the debugger shows an error. Cant figure it out. Please help! I have created 3 classes. The first class SegmentNode contains the data to be stored at each node of the tree. The second class SegmentTree performs various functionality like creation, query search, update. The third class SegmentTreeHandler reads a text file and calls the various functions of the second class. The text file contains numbers that represent the segments on the x-axis. As per the program the file should contain numbers separated by single space ending with a linefeed.

Figured out the problem. Memory space not allocated to the object array of class SegmentNode. – user2504710 Jun 23 '13 at 4:44
