JNI routines work fine on Wintel, however when compiled on MAC OS the c++ "Native Method" call results in java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError Native Method

Libraries load, symbol tables seem right, the rpath name change has been introduced.....

Reduced to a simple HelloWorld, but still no luck.

Resolved, problem was we were unintentionally hiding the JNI symbols. Removing these cMake directives and now symbol references are public. -fvisibility=default -fvisibility-inlines-hidden Big T and little t makes big difference ;) #> nm -g bin/libBifrostJNI.dylib | grep -i hello 0000000000004e20 T _Java_com_nvidia_bifrost_NVbClient_helloWorldPrint Needs to be capital T to be public, lower case t means private/hidden. –  user2506103 Jul 15 '13 at 18:05
