The original example in d3js is slightly modified to read a csv file based on a filter condition. No error, no output. The actual example reads a tsv file.

Could someone check out what the problem is? Is it because of using a csv file instead of tsv or some other reason.?

Probably, your csv file must be comma separated:

AssetID,AssetType,Year,Month,date,day,hour,TempMin,TempMax,value,Pressure

so it would not work where a tsv file is supposed to be used? Can you help me modify this code to accept csv values. –  user2409375 Jun 27 '13 at 5:40
