I have written a mqtt client using paho mqttv3 This is the code for the client:

It works ok but from time to time I get a weird exception that kills the connection:

If anyone has ever come across this please give me some tips.

Is this using the pre-built binary available from Paho? The code in the git repository is much more recent and has a large number of changes - including a small API change. It is probably worth trying the latest code before trying to debug this too far. If it is a bug, you should follow-up on the Paho-dev mailing list. –  knolleary Jul 9 '13 at 14:44

There's a new prebuilt binary in the Eclipse Maven repository with the latest code. –  Andy Piper Jul 11 '13 at 15:39
