I'm doing some test with Spring Transaction, this is my configuration:

When I use this code in a standalone application transaction works perfect, for this purpose I use some code to test this app and I get:

The rollbacking process works, but when I use the same code in a Spring MVC Project spring transaction apparently is not working and the rollback process never happen

I dont know Why Spring Transaction is not working in this case, in a We App environment? Thanks in advance for your response.

Have you noticed the exception by duplicate key? Maybe it is relevant by flushing your database out of test data. –  px5x2 Jul 23 '13 at 14:26
    
Hi, for my test I'm trying to insert 4 registers with a duplicate key in the standalone app the rollback process works nice but in the web app 3 of the 4 registers get inserted and the rollback never happen –  GeralDo Jul 23 '13 at 14:27
    
After digging in a bit, I found that you can first get connection from your data source (first autowire it in dao impl), and check whether the connection supports transaction by using: DataSourceUtils –  px5x2 Jul 23 '13 at 14:57
    
I'm using this code Boolean isTransactional = DataSourceUtils.isConnectionTransactional(dataSource.getConnection(), dataSource); and I'm getting false in the 2 apps –  GeralDo Jul 23 '13 at 15:41
