I am trying to use sqlite database in my application. This is the problem while running

I don't think you are ever calling your createDatabase() method. Shouldn't it be in your constructor like:

public DBAdapter(Context context) {
    super(context, DB_NAME, null, 1);
    // TODO Auto-generated constructor stub
    this.myContext = context;

    createDataBase();
}

I think you also need the proper path as mentioned in question comments.
