I got an asm macro that can't be found:

puttime_asm.s:5: Error: can't open mymacro.s for reading: No such file or directory

It used to work, then I formatted harddrive and now I'm recovering the project and got build problems. I used Nios II SDK in Quartus II web edition and compiling this used to work. What am I doing wrong?

Thw macro is

Update

I tried all combinations to do this seemingly simple thing. I even tried .include "..\..\..\nios32\mymacro.s" and it's not working. Doing something simple should not be impossible. You're saying this is straightforward, so what is the solution I'm asking for? I'm not asking whether this is easy, I know it's supposed to be easy but since the design sucks doing the easy has become impossible.

@909Niklas you've checked to see if it's in the build directory right? If it is, are all the right file permissions set? It's probably not a problem with the code –  Taylor Flores Jul 24 '13 at 20:08
    
It all looks good to me. I posted directory info that didn't look suspicious. I can't seem to find the error. –  Niklas Rosencrantz Jul 24 '13 at 20:21

@909Niklas I see that there aren't any object files in your directory, is the build being performed in a different directory? –  Taylor Flores Jul 24 '13 at 20:29

@909Niklas that wouldn't help. You may do something to the effect of ../nios32io/mymacro.s or wherever the source is relative to the build directory. It may help to show where the build dir is relative to the source dir –  Taylor Flores Jul 24 '13 at 20:52

It's working now. It was a somewhat complicated FPGa project that might have lacked some necessary files. This way to include is working:
