Thanks for this! Helped me in a pinch. I added the FileModel class def for full copy/pasteness. To use: add a FileModel property to the model in the arguments to your controller action and don't forget to do GlobalConfiguration.Configuration.Formatters.Add(new MultipartFormFormatter()); in your bootstrapping. – jkoreska Jan 31 '14 at 16:54

I actually need to do "multipart/form-data" file upload and model binding today, I tried above lib from nuget and turns out it works as my expectation. Validation on model also works fine. Hopefully it helps to answer your question.
