Just asking the question, as Im quite curious.
While profiling my UPNP app, I have noticed that, while being idle and doing background search for devices in different WLANs, CPU loads are quite different.
My assumption was: It is caused because the number of datagrams needed to be proccessed on responses to advertisement broadcasts, i'm sending constantly, are different due to different number of devices sending me responses, but the interesting thing is that in the network with smaller number of discovered devices, the load is bigger, then in the network with a bigger number of discovered devices, which violates my previous assumption.
Any ideas on why it might be happening? Or It might be caused by something in iOS unrelated to my app?
