I faced with problem in multi-threaded http requests processing with HttpListener in mono. Looks like httpListener.BeginGetContext(_handleRequestCallback, null) can't process more than 2 requests "in the same time". I wrote a small test:

(This requires Nunit and log4net to run but they may be easily removed) With SyncTest all works as expected. In AsyncTest I see that httpListener doesn't call _handleRequestCallback more than 2 times in parallel. 3rd request start processing when any previous request is processed:

I think this problem may be related to this one but suggested workarounds don't work. So does anybody has ideas about workaround?

Mono 2.10 is too old, please test with Mono 3.2.x

If you still face the same problem with this version, then try with even newer version: compile your own mono (master branch) because a new flag "--server" was just implemented and pushed.

I'm glad to use newer version of mono but it looks like 3.2.x available only for MacOS. Where I can find deb package for Ubuntu? (I can't use compiled version for my project) –  4ybaka Aug 16 '13 at 17:58
