Please help me to figure out why the getStation and the findStation are failing the tests. I get null for the getStation and Expected:6 but got -1 for the findStation. I've been trying for three days now to figure it out. I'm already late on the assignment. Thanks!

Edit: I added all the code in order to help. I had to create the test cases for the class first. Should I include this as well?

Insufficient information. You don't show how you're running your tests, how you're initializing the object, etc. – Jeen Broekstra Aug 5 '13 at 22:45

Where are you initializing your StationCollection? There's no method here to insert or remove Stations. – user2357112 Aug 5 '13 at 22:46

null agrees with the -1 index you get. In that case you return NO_STATION which is intialized to null. Perhaps it would help if you also included the code where you put stations in the list – c.s. Aug 5 '13 at 22:51

Your stations list is empty hence everything is failing

     for (int i = 0; i < getStationCount(); i++)
      //wont enter this loop since getStationCount() will return 0, i !<0 , so NO_MATCH
     //and

      if (pos >= 0 && pos < getStationCount())
      //will produce false since getStationCount() will return 0 ,so returns NO_STATION

Insert some stations in the list.
