I'm trying to persist my data with OrmLite. In the example there's this class:

It references the SimpleData class. If I want to persist Objects of a variety of classes, do I have to create a DatabaseHelper class for every class I want to persist?

Of course not, you can define many classes to persist and do :

(new DatabaseHelper(getApplicationContext())).getDao(TheClassYouWant.class)

to get any dao. Don't forget to define each tables in the onCreate, onUpgrade :

TableUtils.createTable(connectionSource, SimpleData.class);
TableUtils.createTable(connectionSource, OtherSimpleData.class);

No, you only need one DatabaseHelper class but one DAO per each Object you want to persist.
