I am trying to connect my android project to the google app engine datastore. The datastore has already been populated with data from our website which is deployed on GAE. I have already created the connection between gae and android using endpoints by generating "generate app engine backend", did the generation of "cloud endpoint client library" as well. However I have difficulty retrieving the list of comics details already present in the data store in android.

In the logcat, I received a null pointer exception when the code reaches at this point "ListAdapter comicDetailsList = createComicDetailsList(result.getItems());" under the onPostExecute method.

I feel there is a problem with the connection. How do we ensure that the android is connected to our datastore?

This is how I retrieved the data from gae as shown in the code below:
