I have multi-purpose code which I use to create N number of windows (in my latest data acquisition application 3 windows to display raw data). I create a Window with size 800x256, and piped an image of 800x256 pixels in it originally. I then noticed that I forgot about the borders, and got weird artifacts. Now the point is, I got double lines in my window. The actual display window has a width of 784 pixels (8 go to border left, 8 to border right), so I would expect my code to MISS a few lines to draw, but instead I get some lines twice next to each other.

The phenomenon I get is that in that width of 784 pixels, I get 2 columns each twice (as if the texture has a size of 782 pixels).

What is happening here?

The first thing I'd do is moving whats in OpenGL_Display::InitGL and OpenGL_Display::ResizeGLScene into OpenGL_Display::DrawScene, where those calls actually belong.

It's a very usual thing to change the viewport and projection several times when rendering a frame and if there's that ResizeGLScene thingy around it acts like a mental roadblock to the obvious solution.

Now to address your artifacts, those come from the fact that texture coordinates 0 and 1 are not on texture pixel centers but on the borders to the wrapped neighboring pixels. For a texture N pixels wide the center coordinates of a pixel are at (x + 0.5)/N, where x in [0; N-1].
