i have been asked to find the volume of a polymer extrusion. The component is a sphere that has had part of an ellipsoid cut from it. The equation of the sphere in this problem is: (x^2)+(y^2)+(z^2)=1 and the equation of the ellipsoid is: (((x-1)^2)/2)+((y^2)/0.5)+((z^2)/0.5)=1

am i suppose to find the max in the x,y and z cordinates and run a loop for each before adding together for the volume of the sphere?
