Hi I'm new to HTML5 svg concepts, so thought of learning it by creating a game. just created n number of circles inside a svg and restricted it movements, now i'm trying to shoot a circle from a particular position (cx, cy) but it looks like the position is completly out of sync with the existing co-ordinates inside the svg... Help me in understanding why this problem occurs

Browser used: Chrome (in-case if the issue is bcoz of browser)

Why are you setting both the location of the circle (cx,cy = x,y) and also translating the circle by the same x,y values? You should only need to do one or the other.
