I modified Bluetooth chat example in order to make it send the sms text through BT to another device on receiving it.I'm getting NullPointerException when i'm trying to access the SendMessage method of Application class from the receiver.

why have you commented if (btService != null) it is giving exception because btService is not initialized. – Piyush Oct 1 '13 at 15:45
