I am trying to learn parsing JSON in Haskell via https://www.fpcomplete.com/school/pick-of-the-week/episode-1-json

Why in the heck would it be loading pi-forall ?? That is Stephanie Weirich's demo impl from OPLSS 2013. How can I track down who/what/why this is being loaded?

You're importing some Parser module. What is that module importing? That could be the source of the spurious dependency on pi-forall. – Gabriel Gonzalez Oct 2 '13 at 3:38
    
import Parser() was the problem. I did a cut-n-paste for the fpcomplete tutorial. They had the example spread across several files. I dumped it into one, but forgot to remove that import of one of fpcomplete example. Great to have a second set of eyes. Thanks – haroldcarr Oct 2 '13 at 3:42
