I am having a difficult time populating Google InfoWindows with dynamic content. My plan is to load many markers (60 of them) and attach a click event handler to each of them. When each marker is clicked, I want to fetch the corresponding data from a fusion table based on a unique ID column. In short each marker has different data associated with it, no two markers will have the same dataset loaded into the respective infowWindow. I read about closures but can't seem to apply this concept correctly to this problem set - looking for suggestions here.

Why don't you use a FusionTableLayer? You may define the contents of the InfoWindow via a template? –  Dr.Molle Oct 21 '13 at 22:51
    
I needed to use custom icon images for the markers which is why I didn't use a fusion table layer. I have three tables I am querying data from. One table contains the coordinates for the markers and the ID column. I am then using this ID column to query the two other tables. I can provide the table definitions if necessary. –  Michael Oct 21 '13 at 23:24

You may be best served by joining your tables using FusionTables interface.

In FusionTables use the menu "File" then select "Find a table to merge with".

Lastly your end result should be a single table containing data from all 3, which you can position in an info window with a single query.

Thanks all that contributed to the post. As it turned out it was something simple, I was querying an incorrect table that was throwing out the results. I managed to get the proper content into the infoWindow. Now I just have to decide how best to display a message to the user in the infoWindow when the arrays are empty, null or undefined. Would the following suffice? [code]
