# Sweep Line algorithm [closed]

SWEEP LINE EXAMPLE WITH EXAMPLE: AFTER CORRECTION

The code Contais 3 classes:

1. Class Line to represent the Horizontal lines: Parameters: (x1,y1)----------(x2,y2)
2. Class Point:
3. Class segment for the sweep line algorithm

I am trying to use the following code, to compute the intersections between horizontal lines, As you can from the coordinates that My lines are Horizontal: Coordinates: x1,y1,x2,y2 I have x1 < x2, and y1 = y

Is this your whole code? When I tried compiling it, I got `error: 'complex' does not name a type`. –  Kevin Oct 25 '13 at 12:09

Actually there are no intersections between lines in your data. What is expected? –  Sergey Oct 25 '13 at 12:10
When I say "whole code", I mean something I can copy and paste and compile and run and see your problem. I usually expect to see `include` statements and a `main` method, at least. Without those, there's no way to do debugging. –  Kevin Oct 25 '13 at 12:13
Please can you write example line coordinates and expected results. With `Line(0, 5, 10, 5);` and `Line(5, 0, 5, 10);` expected result is `(5, 5)` and this code gives it correctly. With data in your original post - there are only horizontal lines --> no intersections. –  Sergey Oct 25 '13 at 12:52

The code is correct (assuming you have proper `#include` and `main()` methods). The lines you provided have no intersections. If you add any vertical line like `800 100 800 2000` you will get a `vector<pnt>` of intersections.
