I am trying to encrypt a file by using a string value from dialog box. I have been able to encrypt the file in normal way using AES. The file is stored on SDCard. But when I take a value from Dialog Box and use it for encryption I get the encrypted file whose size is zero bytes. This is my code:

Thanks alot for ur reply. There was a minor glitch and my code is working as well for encryption and decryption. Now I can enter a key and decrypt a file. I need a bit of help in running this encrypted file through custom classloader. Any ideas? –  Shoaib Nov 12 '13 at 6:57

I use this class: DesEncrypter.

And in my code:

    String STR = "sIwDraAEhBsRaKXMcvgW6jiRV+6FK11LbbFrAqLrc9qlJqCVhExyQg==";
    String key = "yourkey"
    DesEncrypter encrypter = new DesEncrypter(key);

    String decryptedStr = encrypter.decrypt(STR));
    String encrypteddStr = encrypter.encrypt(decryptedStr));

OR:

    String STR = "Hello world!";
    String key = "yourkey"
    DesEncrypter encrypter = new DesEncrypter(key);

    String encrypteddStr = encrypter.encrypt(STR));
