I have a thread that has to be on infinite loop for arduino serial feedback. I have the feeling that doing infinite loops on a Apache Tomcat server's not good. What are some good practices for this kind of design?

Heres a singleton I get from Servlet Context that contains the class SerialAnswerMonitor (it has the infinite loop)

I dont really know. With that design, wouldn't it be better to try a listener? –  gcats Nov 25 '13 at 10:53
