I'm currently working on an assignment for class that requires me to use GTK with C to create a TicTacToe game, and I'm almost there, but for some reason, whenever I click a box to put an "x" or "o" into, the does what it's supposed to do, but also adds a row, to the point where whenever I click anything, it just adds a row. I'm not sure how to post code in here, but any help would be appreciated!

gtk_box_pack_start is used to add a new widget to your grid. Of course, this will add a new row/column, as you're adding a new widget! Instead, reuse your GtkButton, and call gtk_button_set_label on it to change its label.

There's much more to say, but hey, everyone had to learn at first ;). But just be aware that is extremely uncomfortable reading non-indented text, and that most code editors have automatic indentation features.

You should also factor out the game state logic, in a is_game_over function, so you avoid your multiple tests on each click. When the user clicks on a button, just change the corresponding value in your structure, and call your is_game_over function to detemine if there is a winner.
