my program is supposed to do 5 operations: 1.insert 2.delete 3.preoder 4.inorder 5.post order using a binary search tree... my problem is only in delete function. take a look at this code:

my delete function works properly,the only problem is when I want to delete the root! when I choose to delete the root, this window appears: "program is not responding" what should I do in order to solve this problem? I mean how should I delete the root?

I added this piece of code to check whether the desired node is root or not:
