I am trying to write some code that allows clients to send files to server. But I cannot send files with this code.

To login, login password username is to be typed.

On receiving "sendfile" from the client, the class Client call sendFile method which turns desired file into byte array. On receiving "sendfile" from Client Server calls the method receiveFile that accepts and build the file sent from client.

What do you mean with 'I cannot send files with this code.'? Do you get an error/exception on server or client side, does it block somewhere and at which point, do you get invalid/incomplete data etc.? –  Roland Bär Jan 16 at 15:32
    
@RolandBär, The code just does not work. No exception or error. After I input file name in client, it just remains there, nothing happens –  Adnan Bashir Jan 16 at 15:51
    
What do you mean by that? 'fileName = br.readLine();' in client does not return? I assume you have tried a breakpoint on the next line and then single-stepped it? –  Martin James Jan 16 at 18:17
