I'm doing a map plot use basemap and I want some artist (ex: Polygon) on a graph get transform (when zooming) with apply the transform=ax.transAxes but I doesn't work and I can't see why. here's code:

Did you solv this? I'm having a similar issue with Gtk and patches. I can draw if I'm using TK but not if I'm using Gtk –  deinonychusaur Mar 10 '14 at 14:35
    
I meet this problem too. I think you can use self.map to convert data into axes units by yourself. Basemap object can be called as a function. This might solve the problem, if no better solution. –  Sub Struct Aug 22 '14 at 8:12
