I am currently trying to write a template class that includes a virtual method and a friend. I want to call them in my test function. My code is:

Compilation fails with:

 error C2248: 'ProcessorBase<T>::v' : cannot access protected member declared in class 'ProcessorBase<T>'

 error C2679: binary '<<' : no operator found which takes a right-hand operand of type 'std::vector<_Ty>' (or there is no acceptable conversion)

Can you please help me detect where exactly is the problem?

Your code is has a lot of issues making the compilation fail. – Dieter Lücking Jan 19 '14 at 12:23
    
Besides two missing typename it compiles (and the protected member issue is gone, too) – Dieter Lücking Jan 19 '14 at 15:31

arr contains pointers, so you cannot use ., you need ->.
