I am working on a school project where I have to exchange secret data between 2 Android devices using AES-128 (it really has to be this kind of algorithm with this key size). Since this is a symmetric-key algorithm, I need a way to make the 2 devices establish this key. I was thinking about doing a Diffie-Hellman Key-Agreement, but I do not know how to generate my AES key further, because the Key Size is wrong. Before going into action, I tried a stupid example on my computer, just to make sure it works (before really implementing it). Here is my initial code:

Ok, so I've done some research and it turns out that the generated secret is not a valid AES-key size (128,192, or 256). My generated secret is 128 Bytes (and not bits). How can I properly generate a valid AES-key for my program? Please help, I would really appreciate.
