I'm a bit confused by few terms related to FFT analysis.
The spectral Energy, Entropy, Energy spectral density, power spectral density, The first five coefficients of fft, the first five components of fft.
Can someone explain this to me, possibly in terms of a matlab code with a window? Lets assume that we have a time-series data-window of 2 seconds = window
I calculated spectral energy as:
fftvalue = fft(window); spectralenergy = sum(abs(fftvalue).^2)/T; Sumoffirstfivecofficients = sum(abs(fftvalue(1:5)));
Now how to calculate the rest ? Moreover, are the above formulas correct ? Is the spectral energy of a signal same as energy spectral density ?
