This is my stored procedure:

I got the error:

Implicit conversion from data type datetime to int is not allowed. Use the CONVERT function to run this query.

@BoStigChristensen I changed from DbType into SqlDbType type. So my c# function looks like that:

But unfortunately it throw the error: String[2]: the Size property has an invalid size of 0.

I don't see you assigning values to any of your parameters. Do you do this somewhere? The problem is in NextPostDate. I see you set up the parameter with a type and direction, but no value. –  Evan L Jan 27 '14 at 15:05

@Otix - The last error is because you have to set the length of your SqlDbType.NVarChar parameters like this: outParam.Size = 50; Bo's answer plus this should get it going. –  Evan L Jan 27 '14 at 16:00

SqlParameter constructor takes a SqlDbType and not DbType:

SqlParameter(String, SqlDbType)

Pass the correct type SqlDbType :-)

By passing DbType.DateTime into a SqlDbType parameter, you are basically passing a potentially wrong mapping, leading to unpredictable results.

An example of this:
