I've never worked with encryption before. Actually I know nothing about encryption. I have a file encrypted with openssl tool using params:

openssl aes-256-cbc -nosalt -in fileIn -out fileOUT -p -k KEY

I need to decrypt it into memory but I don't know how. Can anyone provide me the code related to encryption?

@Robert so Android doesn't includes calculation of iv and key values? For example I know how to get them from the password. But what's next? –  Lingviston Feb 7 '14 at 12:54
    
use the code from stackoverflow.com/questions/10842350/java-aes-cbc-decryption it looks OK, but change "NoPadding" to "PKCS5Padding". –  Robert Feb 7 '14 at 13:00

The issue is that I know only password. I need to get key and IV for it somehow. –  Lingviston Feb 10 '14 at 8:13

Sadly I get javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: pad block corrupted using similar code. bpaste.net/show/B0jf8204RkRxvn3hsqB0 I've tried ti rip off everything related to the salt while I'm using -nosalt param in OpenSSL but then I get errors that my salt is null or zero-width. –  Lingviston Feb 10 '14 at 9:33

Here's class I have written to decrypt a string encoded with params above (if I remmeber it correct):

Salt is an empty bytearray in this case. It uses apache-commons-compress.jar.

Here's usage example:

byte[] key = CipherUtils.getKey(password, null);
byte[] IV = CipherUtils.getIV(password, null);
Cipher cipher = Cipher.getInstance("AES/CBC/PKCS5Padding");
cipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, new SecretKeySpec(key, "AES"),
        new IvParameterSpec(IV));
cis = new CipherInputStream(is, cipher);

Where is is an InputStream of encrypted data.
