I have successfully generated a tone using iOS with the following code. After that, I want to save the generated tone to an audio file. How can I do this?

I've no idea why you would want to do that, given it's such a simple task to generate a tone. However, i would look at AVAssetWritter. –  MDB983 Mar 23 at 16:21

The extended audio file api provides an easy way to write audio files to disk.

ExtAudioFileWriteAsync would work from within the render callback –  sbooth Mar 24 at 21:23
