I am developing a jsf application using netbeans asn so far I have designed an input form post.xhtml and generated entity classes from the database as well as jpa controllers from the entity classes. How can I now call the methods form the jsf page to save data to the tables?

First of all be sure to close your field inside tag. Add button to form which will be used to store data to DB. Your controller is more like a service than controller but add to it annotations @Named and optionally @ViewScoped. Add there action:

}

Then add field NewPostEntity newPostEntity with setter and getter.

</h:form>

TIP: Create different layer for dao, sevice and controller in your application. My solution is just for show you it work and it shouldn't be in final product.
